Instrument: Mellophone
Year first joined: 2003

I first joined 6th Hove when I was 12 years old. I started off in the junior corps and in my first season I played soprano. The following season I was asked to play mellophone and marched this for the next two years until I moved up to the senior corps. I joined the senior corps in 2006 when we played our show 'Bushido' - this is the year I played baritone and it was also the year we came 8th in DCE finals. Then in 2007 I moved back onto mellophone where I have stayed till the present day. Like many of the other members I have been involved in the scouting movement, I started in beavers at the age of 5 and have been through the different sections and now I am an assistant scout leader.
