I have been a member of 6th Hove Drum and Bugle Corps since the age of 8. I started in the pit, and was a cadet class champion in 1998, after being part of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' I remained in the pit for another year, then went on to be the Drum Major in 2000. I tried my luck in 2001 in the drumline, unfortunately I ended up leaving the corps due to other commitments. I was finally persuaded to rejoin the A Corps in 2004 but this time into the baritone line. In 2005 I was given the opportunity to play Tuba and have been there ever since. Since being in 6th Hove, I have had the chance to march with a lot of talented players, and I have made so many close friends. I have also learnt a lot about playing a musical instrument. I am also a member of the scout group, I started in beavers at the age of 6, and I have gone all the way through the group to become a scout leader. 6th Hove has given me so much, I have fun every weekend, although it can sometimes be hard work! and I look forward to seeing all my mates, and to putting together the best show we can. I look forward to seasons to come... 6th love forever
